A center of global commerce and trade, Hong Kong boasts no end of shopping experiences; you can probably find anything you want here. Some 236 islands technically make up Hong Kong, however most of the action is concentrated on Hong Kong Island and on Kowloon, a city on the peninsula. The Star Ferry, which travels between the two, is one of the busiest water crossings on the planet. The best view in town may be from the top of Victoria Peak, on the western part of Hong Kong Island, with a height of 1,810 feet.
