Australia’s best known city and famous harbor, Sydney has a great deal of notable sights and much to offer. The iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge are everlasting images of the city, which can’t be missed. Hosting the 2000 Olympic Games improved on a city that already had a great deal to offer. Now the city can boast improved facilities, extra dining and many entertainment venues. On foot you can explore many of the city’s prime destinations. Leave from the waterside restaurants fringing the historic Rocks district, and take an easy walk around Sydney Cove past the Circular Quay ferry terminal to that remarkable Opera House and finally on to the beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens. A trip up to the top of the Centrepoint Tower will give you a bird’s eye view of the city from over 300 yards up. Bondi Beach is the classic Aussie coastal experience while Darling Harbour offers an Aboriginal cultural centre, museums, aquarium, amusement park and shops.
